My 'darling' messaged me concerning on my arrival back to Kuala Lumpur. Well, I was in the train overhearing two old uncles who were old friends, old colleagues and who had been separated for years and been gathered together today by the hand of fate and destiny. These two uncles talked about their old days, old friends and of course their current conditions. Then, they went to a series of countdown of their friends who had passed away. A flash of grief was displayed on their wrinkled faces.
This is life. We come. We act. Then, we go.
Upon reaching my room, I saw my landlady's daughter sitting at the living room watching television. Upon returning to my stuffy room, I unleashed my laptop and resumed on my DOTA.
After a game, I felt tired and begin to read Detective Conan. Reading a few pages, I suddenly remembered a friend of mine who told me she was unhappy yesterday. Concerned, I called her. The phone ring twice. Then an unclear and blocked nose voice answered my call. SHE IS CRYING.
She was mumbling at the phone. I hardly could catch any of her words. At the background, I overheard another voice crying and another voice scolding like mad, aged wrinkled widow. I thought someone had passed away. Then as time passed, I realized that the old widow was actually scolding my friend. She was sobbing like hell.
Troubled as it was my first time handling a crying friend, I tried to calm her down. As her boyfriend called, I knew the service of the Dark Knight was not needed anymore. Somehow, I need to know the truth. I called another of her friend, trying to understand what inflicted so much sadness in her.
The truth as no other than the normal homo sapiens that we can see everyday. Homo sapiens with double and sometimes triple masks faking their actions, faking their speeches in order to get what ever that they want without ever considering the effects on others as long as that they are satisfied at their gain. Then they would smirked at their very own slyness and happiness in manipulating lesser fortunate ones.
Somehow, her call today reminded me of my own unfortunate encounter with my "friends". My first was with my childhood friend. He was eager for a position in the prefectorial board and I was framed on things that I did not do. Next, was no other than my another childhood friend who always seeked information from me in Oil and Gas Industry and disappeared with his own information. Yes. He successfully "overthrown" me and got enrolled into ABC Company. Third was my "best" friend who disclosed my secrets to a girl I had feelings on and acted boldly when I confronted him. And the last is another my "best" friend who took advantage of my naiveness and feelings in getting what she wants. Recently, she was complaining on how tough is she and like any other hypocrite would do, she hid behind a curtain of moral principles.
Sigh. These humans will never learned. I am really tired with them. Somehow, I remembered the two uncles I saw in the train. They were smiling so happily recalling their old days. When they were young, were they enemies too?? Ha Ha.
To my friend who is unhappy today. Be happy and stay strong. Challenges are everywhere in life. Stay by your principles, I would support you till the end.

The Fallen Landlady
The visibility was limited by the thick fog ahead. Ten melee attackers looked ahead cautiously and the other three spear hurlers behind, geared up for any unexpected possibilities. Using his skills, the hero behind summoned two treants from the forest beside to scout the route.
Then, I pressed the button "F10" and paused the game. Feeling hot and stuffy, I removed my earphone to rose to get a sip water. It was around 09.00 pm. Faintly, I heard my name was called.
"Alex...."
I paused momentarily. I recognized the voice. It was the voice of the 50++ years old landlady calling my name. Opening the door, I went downstairs to answer her call which I did not expect what had happened next would be quite a scene to me.
Laying down and facing upwards at the bottom of the stairs, my landlady's head was covered with streams of red blood oozing like spilling strawberry juice!
She had fallen from the stairs while rushing down. It was my first time seeing so many blood on the floor and on a person. Not knowing what to do, I immediately sprinted down the stairs and held her up to the sink to wash away the blood off her hands. Then, I brought her to sit down and searched around her house for bandage. However, she did not kept bandage in her house.
The blood was still flowing profusely off her head dripping to her pairs of jeans and clothes. Fetching the towel off her wardrobe, I pressed the towel on head to stop the blood. Groping my handphone, I immediately called for family members.
The landlady knowing me calling her family, immediately stood up and called one of her neighbor instead. Later, I understood that she planned to go to Genting, which I assumed to the casino. Recalled on what her niece told me before, her family is against her gambling habit.
5 minutes later, she was sent to the clinic for 4 stitches and warded in General Hospital for observation. Returni g to the crime scene, I studied the stairs and the blood stains as well as her vertical wound on her forehead.
She explained that she hit against the glass at the wall. Looking around, I discovered that that claim is rather impossible. if she impacted against the hard and thick glass, she would have fainted instead. And the most evident point is she was facing upwards when I found her.
My deduction is:
1. She was rushing down the stairs.
2. She did not hold on to the grip.
3. Her long pants tripped her.
4. A human who is falling will definitely try to hold on to something. I guessed her left hand was occupied by her bag and she tried to hold to the wall with right hand but could not sustain. Then her head hit the stair and slide down.
